BnB Response 17-19

Eddie brought a small size alto saxophone to the house for Bud.

Bud suddenly realized that the place, where he was used to sleep is his mother’s room.

Bud discovered a bunch of flat rocks that have different names of places and date in the glove compartment of Mr. Calloway’s Packard. Actually, he was surprised because he has some of those flat rocks.

The reason why Mr. Calloway did not visit his daughter Angela and grandson Bud is because although he wanted to contact them and visit them he didn’t know where she ran away.

Mr. Calloway’s daughter, who is Bud’s mother, ran away because he was very strict to her and he was very hard on her. Actually, he didn’t mean to but he wanted her become a teacher. Therefore, although he loved her so much, as Bud do, he must be strict to her to make her a good student.

I think Mr. Calloway was so stubborn in accepting Bud because Bud was saying that you are my father and without any reason he had to live with Bud together. I think their relationship will change very soon because he just found that his daughter is dead 4 years ago and Bud is his grandson. I guess Mr. Calloway will be so nice so that Bud won’t run away like what his daughter did.
